Doc visit

All Brynn has is a cold/virus. They did a rapid Strep test, just to cover all the bases and it came back negative, so I'll just continue with the humidifier and Claritin. I feel like I'm getting sick now, so hopefully that feeling will go away tomorrow by the time I have to go back to work.

Poor Brynn

Brynn cough got worse this morning. As I was getting ready to go to work, she woke up and I could hear her coughing so hard that she started to gag. She's had a couple of those episodes this morning, so after a phone call to Dan all the way in Wash DC, we decided that I should probably keep her at home today and take her to the doctor.

She is sitting on the couch watching Veggie Tales now, while I make Cinnamon Rolls and coffee. She is drinking orange juice rather than her normal milk as I think it will help with the sore throat and mucus problems. (TMI)

I'll update later as to what the doctor said, but hopefully it's nothing serious.

Grocery Gamer

One thing you must know about me now, if you already don't, is that I love going grocery shopping now!!! I joined this website called www.grocerygame.com and it is saving me so much money on groceries!!! I get all anxious on Saturday's when I know my Safeway list is going to go up and when it does I pick out what I'm going to buy the next day. Then I go through all of my old coupons and pull out the ones I need for the next morning. Then on Sunday morning, I clip all of those coupons from the paper and I'm off!!!! I have so much fun seeing how much I saved after my trip is over with. It has become my Sunday morning time alone, when I go to Safeway. However, this morning, since Dan left, Brynn helped me with my shopping. She sang me songs a lot of the way through the store. :)

Okay, I'm going to try this blogging thing again. Don't get mad at me if I forget to post every once in awhile, but I will try really hard. :)

Dan left on a trip today and it's so quiet around here with Brynn sleeping. I can't wait till he comes home on Friday, as I already miss him and it hasn't even been a day yet. Brynn and I stayed busy this morning dropping him off at the airport, going grocery shopping, going to Sissy's house, and now back home and staying in for the rest of the day.
