We had a lot of fun at Isela's party. It snowed during part of the party and was sunny the other half, although it was still a bit cold. Now to start another week!

I did it!!!

I tried making some hairbows myself, and I did pretty good I think! I started out with some simple ones. Mom is sending me some of her left over clips from when she tried to make some bows, so they are missing the clips till I get those. I'll most more pictures of bows as I make them. I plan to make all of Brynn's bows from now on, and once I master the bows, then I'd like to start selling them!

Miss Business Woman

I dressed up Brynn in one of her new Spring outfits from Gymboree for the baby shower we went to this past Saturday. When Dan saw her he said, "You look like a business woman!". I think she looks like a mini-teacher. What do you think???

Brynn's new bows

I found this great website http://www.fiveblessedbows.com/ with reasonable prices for amazing looking bows (the guys won't understand this). Anyways, we got them in the mail today and Brynn and I just love them. Each match a line of clothing from Gymboree.

busy weekend ahead...

We have a busy weekend coming up. Today Dan is picking up Brynn and I am going to work on Brynn's birthday invites with Jey tonight. Tomorrow, Brynn and I are going to a friend's baby shower, and Sunday morning Dan leaves AGAIN for another business trip. This time to Dallas. Brynn and I are going to go grocery shopping and probably go see Horton Hears a Who at the movies.

Chuck E Cheese

Brynn's party has been scheduled at Chuck E Cheese on Sunday, May 25th. She has been told this, but has no concept of time and thinks it's tomorrow. :) I told her that her birthday is over a month away, and she said, "Oh okay". :) Anyways, should be an interesting time, and it's priceless to see her face when she see Chuck E CHeese. :)

We can't wait!

Safe at home

Dan got home safely last night. As soon as he gets off of the main computer sometime today, I will put some of his trip pictures on here. The got to see the cherry blossoms, although they were more white now, than pink. Brynn was very excited to see him. :)

Today Dan is helping a friend move and I'm going to get a haircut later on this morning. I think we also have a trip planned to Costco. Other than that, nothing much planned.

One more night...

This is our last night without Dan and we can't wait to see him tomorrow. We are having biscuits tonight for dinner. :) My nose and throat still have drainage in them and Brynn is just coughing in the morning now and a bit in the evening. It was rainy/snowy today, so it was a nice day to spend indoors at work. :)

Can't wait till Friday!!

Cashmere...

I got a great deal on a Cashmere sweater from Old Navy for $9.99 a couple of months ago and finally decided to wear it to work this morning. When I went to wake up Brynn and get her out of bed, she laid her head down on my shoulder and said, "Oh mommy shirt soft!". She is only 2 and already knows a good sweater! haha!

Brynn still has her cough and I still have a stuffy head, but we are both doing okay. 2 more nights and Dan will be home. We can't wait!

Another day

I'm back at work today and not feeling so good. Brynn seemed pretty back to normal this morning, but she still has her cough. I am half way through my day, so I'm hoping the next 4 hours go quickly, but I doubt they will. Not much on the agenda for this afternoon. Will go pick up Brynn and head home to find something for dinner. I don't cook much when Dan is away, so we just eat what I feel like making. :)

Yesterday, while we were at the doctor, Brynn was sitting in my lap while we waiting for them to come in and check her. I gave her a kiss on the cheek and she looked at me and said "I love you"!!! Made my heart melt! That's the first time she has said that without us saying it first. :)
