Back to Reality

After a full weekend of fun with Brynn, Grandma and Grandpa, and the Hallocks, it's back to the grind at work tomorrow. Dan has been working, even on his days off, at Lowes for his part time job. I had a great time and I know Brynn did too. Thanks to everyone who made this weekend amazing!

My baby girl turns 3 on Sunday...

I won't have much time to post this weekend since we will be going to the zoo tomorrow and Brynn's birthday and her Chuck E Cheese party on Sunday, so figured I'd post this today. Brynn's first 3 years have gone so fast and she has grown into a little lady right before our eyes. Happy Birthday Brynn! Mommy and Daddy love you!

It's dress time!!

Since it's started to get warmer outside, I've been putting Brynn in dresses more during the weekend. Here are her styles for this weekend. One is called a pillowcase dress (pink and brown) that mom got on Ebay from a lady that makes them. I just bought two more pillowcase dresses from the same lady, so she'll be wearing those soon. :) The last picture is of Brynn and Daddy. I thought it was a great pic of the two of them!

One more week till somebody's birthday and 3 more days till Nana and Papa (or how Brynn has been calling them Grandpa and Grandma) come to Colorado!!! It's going to be such an excited and jam-packed week and weekend and we can't wait!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

Dan started working part time at Lowe's so our planned Mother's Day (a day at Estes Park) didn't take place as the had him on the scheduled this weekend. Saturday we had breakfast at Original Pancake House and it was great! Then we went to Kohl's for a mini-shopping spree. Then Dan worked at Lowe's from 1 to 8. He works again today from 1 to 8, so Brynn and I don't have much planned for the rest of the day. She is napping now, so we'll see what the day brings when she wakes up. Soccer time!

Brynn is now officially registered for soccer at Rocky Mountain Soccer Acadamy in Aurora. Their mascot is a Cougar, my high school rival were the cougars, but at least their soccer colors are black and red and not blue and gold. :) Here is a link...

I haven't gotten the official schedule, but I do know that games will be played on Saturday morning at the Aurora Sports Park. Should be fun, as they teach kids this young about the basics of soccer and encourage parent participation in practice.
