Part 2: Artist for a day

Artists for a day

Brynn, Sissy, and I went to Color Me Mine this past Monday to paint some pottery! Brynn painted a cupcake container thingy, Sissy painted two coffee mugs, and I painted a trivet (with a little help from Brynn). We had a great time, although Brynn was a bit fussy. Then we had lunch at Del Taco and went to Michaels and Joann's to look at yarn. Thanks Sissy for driving down to see us!

Valentine's Day

We had a great Valentine's Day weekend! It started off with breakfast at Original Pancake house!! Brynn had the Happy Face Cakes, I had the Pumpkin Pancakes, and Dan had the Blueberry pancakes. Then we headed off to give the Stratus some lovin' and got the tires rotated and balanced and the oil changed. We then headed home for Brynn to nap. Then we dropped Brynn off at Nana's house and topped the day off with massages and dinner at a really good Mexican restaurant we found! It was a great day! Sunday we woke up late at 8!!! It was so nice! We spent the day around the house doing what we both love to do...Dan playing WoW and me knitting and watching TV. We then went to watch Dan's old hockey team play...which they lost, but they played an awesome game. We picked up Brynn and Anita's, and I am now sitting here while Brynn sleeps and Dan goes to work out with his friend Dave. Tomorrow Dan is going snowboarding with his brother, Alan, and Brynn and I get to spend time with Sissy!! We are going to paint some pottery and have some girl time together and we can't wait! I love you hun and thanks for a great weekend!

The Computer...

Per my brother's request, here is a photo of the computer. :) My laptop has it's home on the living room coffee table. :) I also included a picture of the tv. :)

New Home

Here are some pictures of the new apartment. There are no pictures of Brynn's room as she was napping while I took the pictures. There are still some boxes in some of the pictures, but those are now gone, so we finally feel at home and settled!

All Moved

We got everything moved over on Saturday! Now we are just in the midst of many boxes that still need to be unpacked. Hopefully we can get everything unpacked by the end of this coming weekend. Brynn is settling in to her new room just fine. We are also getting used to going up and down the stairs since we live on the second floor...gotta get that work out in!
